A Scout Jamboree is a massive, festive gathering of Scouts that happens at a national level. Thousands of Scouts camp together to make friends, learn about different cultures, and develop leadership and outdoor

A World Scout Jamboree is one of the largest global youth events in the world, bringing together tens of thousands of Scouts aged 14 to 17 from over 170 countries. Held every four years, it is a massive outdoor camp centered on cultural exchange, leadership development, and adventure.

Bramshill have been sending Scouts and Explorers to the World Scout Jamboree since 2007.

The 21st World Scout Jamboree was held in Hylands Park, Essex, UK in 2007

In the centre of our picture is a Hawley Scout alongside Prince Harry at the 21st WSJ.

The 22nd World Scout Jamboree was held in Rinkaby, Sweden in 2011.

There was no contingent from Bramshill District present at this event.

The 23rd World Scout Jamboree in 2015 was held in Kirarahama, Yamaguchi City, Japan.

Swapping neckers and badges with Scouts from around the world is a big part of a Jamboree. This is what a Hawley Explorer brought home from the event!

The 24th World Scout Jamboree was held at the Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve in West Virginia, USA.

This is our Hampshire UK Unit No XX in the USA

The 25th World Scout Jamboree (WSJ) was held in Saemangeum, North Jeolla Province, South Korea in 2023.

This is Hampshire Unit 59 at the airport.

The 26th World Scout Jamboree is taking place in Gdańsk, Poland in 2027. Bramshill Distict have five Explorers who have accepted a place on the 26th WSJ. They all attended a selection camp at Ferny Croft, our County campsite in the New Forest. Here they were invited to show their abilities to be part of a team, be in charge of a team and show their resilence in the challenges they encountered during the weekend.
